“WHATEVER IT IS, DANDYISM IS ALWAYS A CONDITION OF THE SOUL”
EMOTION: a strong feeling deriving from one’s circumstances, mood, or relationships with others. Instinctive or intuitive feeling as distinguished from reasoning or knowledge.
Emotions are the propellant that moves everything and in our experience they never correspond to the achievement of a goal, but, on the contrary, they constitute the starting point for an inner research.
There are characters, celebrated or unknown to most people, whose lives have been guided by emotions, men who sometimes had first-hand experience of the extreme consequences of their choices. Against every rule according to reason, near or far in space and time, they were able to leave a living testimony of their inner universe that still tug at our heartstrings today.
First almost unconsciously, then with intention and method, we found ourselves studying in detail the lives and legends of personalities belonging to the contemporary age, linked by their common ability to model their own exteriority as a reflection of their way of being, sometimes subverting and innovating the aesthetic categories related to beauty.
Our passions and our training have grown in Milan since the ’80s, in relation to the fashion, art, design and music fields. Fashion, in particular, is the area where experiences and stimuli have converged, finding a point of balance and synthesis.
The moment when our experiments made us understand we could transfer that world of emotions onto a fabric square, Gagà Pochette became a brand. Our will is to place in your pocket a fragment of the stories we want to tell, imbued with the same passions that you and us we both feel ours with the same strenght.
The quality of our products is an expression of the best Italian tradition and combines the quality of the materials with truly artisan finishings.
All this is offered materially, through the shop area of the site, but above all through the stories of our blog/journal MONOGRAM, because we believe the sharing of this world prior to what we do.
